Attached is an application for the Hardyston First Aid Squad.
We provide free equipment and training and in return expect members to be on call for 72 hours per month (1 12-hour shift per week and 1 24-hour shift on one weekend per month). (On call means that members are available. We do provide members with a radio so they can respond from their home.) An average call takes about 1.5 – 2 hours, and we respond to between 60 and 70 calls a month, so most of members’ on call time is just being available.
